### The 2005 Mérida Recording

A video recorded in **Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, on March 20, 2005**, has become known in UFO circles as the “Mérida Alien Video.” The footage is attributed to **José Alonso Herrera**, who reportedly used a Sony Ericsson K500i cellphone to film friends juggling a soccer ball at approximately **2 a.m.** in Fraccionamiento del Parque.
