David Grusch discusses alleged nonhuman entities on Joe Rogan podcast
ILLUSTRATIVE RECONSTRUCTION // NOT EVIDENCE

Podcast Discussion

Former U.S. intelligence official David Grusch has discussed a series of extraordinary claims about alleged nonhuman entities during an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, according to a report published by the New York Post on Oct. 3, 2026. The conversation reportedly included descriptions of beings compared with Greek gods and “gorilla lizards,” as well as broader speculation about the nature and origin of alleged unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAP.

The reported discussion appears to build on claims Grusch has made since emerging publicly as a UAP whistleblower. In 2023, Grusch told Congress that he had been informed of alleged secret government programs involving the recovery and analysis of nonhuman craft. He also said that some individuals had been harmed or injured in connection with UAP-related activity. At the time, Grusch emphasized that much of his information came from interviews with other officials and sources, rather than from direct personal observation of recovered beings or vehicles.

Claims About Nonhuman Entities

During the podcast, Grusch reportedly described accounts involving entities with appearances that witnesses or sources likened to figures from ancient mythology and large reptilian or gorilla-like creatures. Such descriptions are among the more speculative elements associated with the modern UAP debate, which has traditionally focused on unexplained objects, unusual flight characteristics and alleged government secrecy.

The reported remarks do not establish that these entities exist, nor do they provide independently verifiable evidence of their alleged appearance or activities. No biological samples, authenticated imagery or publicly available documentation were presented in the source material to substantiate the descriptions. The language also appears to reflect comparisons or characterizations attributed to alleged witnesses and sources, rather than an officially confirmed classification of nonhuman life.

Alleged Government Footage and Underwater Activity

Grusch also reportedly addressed alleged government footage and the possibility that a nonhuman presence could exist underwater. The idea has circulated within UAP communities for years, sometimes under theories involving unidentified objects operating in oceans, entering or leaving the water, or originating from hidden environments on Earth. However, the existence of such a presence remains unconfirmed.

Similarly, references to government video do not by themselves demonstrate that the material depicts extraterrestrial or nonhuman technology. UAP footage can be difficult to interpret because of limited resolution, viewing angles, sensor artifacts and incomplete information about an event. Publicly released videos have generally documented objects that remain unidentified, not objects conclusively proven to be alien.

Official and Community Response

The allegations come amid continuing debate over how the U.S. government investigates UAP reports. Congressional hearings and public testimony have increased scrutiny of military encounters, intelligence oversight and the handling of classified information. At the same time, official reviews have not publicly verified claims of extraterrestrial vehicles or nonhuman biological entities.

Within the UFO/UAP community, Grusch’s podcast appearance has prompted renewed discussion, but reactions have also highlighted the need for evidence that can be independently examined. The claims described in the interview remain allegations, not established facts, and their significance will depend on whether supporting records, testimony or physical evidence become available for review by lawmakers, scientists and the public.
