Overview
A Reddit user identified as Zack Agee has recounted an alleged extraterrestrial abduction that he says occurred in Yakima, Washington, in late summer 2001, when he was six years old. His account is presented in a video described as the first tape of a hypnoregression session, during which Agee revisits the reported event and describes encounters with unusual beings, a spacecraft and messages about humanity’s future. The claims have not been independently verified, and the account remains a personal recollection rather than established evidence of extraterrestrial activity.
The Reported Encounter
According to the session, Agee was in his bedroom when a bright light filled the room, leaving him feeling “blinded” and panicked. He described seeing two small, thin, grey entities with large foreheads and oversized, circular black eyes. The beings allegedly communicated telepathically, primarily through emotions or impressions, and conveyed that he should “come with us.” Agee said he was lifted from his bed and taken through the window, observing the city below as he was carried toward a craft.
He later described the craft’s interior as a large white room and said he saw other metallic, orb-like vehicles nearby. During the regression, Agee identified several types of beings. These included human-looking figures with long blond hair and bright blue eyes, dressed in silver, one-piece uniforms. He referred to one of them as “Ariik.” He also described a larger, mantis-like entity that appeared to occupy a position of authority. Agee characterized the beings as “gentle” and said they guided him through hallways to a room where he was placed on a bed for what he interpreted as a study or test.
Messages and Visions
A central part of the account involves alleged visions about Earth’s future. Agee said the beings showed him scenes of the planet’s destruction and subsequent preservation, and that humans were being evaluated to determine who might fit into a future version of Earth. He said the qualities being assessed included “love,” “peace” and a weaponless, low-technology way of life.
Agee also recalled being shown a black box that released a blinding light when opened. He said the light contained rapidly changing images of nature, people, numbers and maps, and described the experience of holding the box as “amazing” and “blissful.” Other reported details included a supposed tracker, or “worm,” placed behind his ear so the beings could monitor him. He also said he was told that “time is not linear” and “reaches all.”
Context and Limitations
The session reportedly concluded with Agee’s return to his bed and a final message: “We’ll see you again soon.” The video presents his testimony as a detailed subjective experience, consistent with broader alien-abduction narratives involving grey beings, telepathic communication and medical examinations.
However, hypnoregression is not considered a reliable method for recovering objectively verified memories. Research has found that hypnosis can increase confidence in recollections while also making people more vulnerable to suggestion and confabulation. As a result, Agee’s account cannot, on its own, establish that an abduction occurred. The story remains an unverified personal claim whose significance depends on further corroboration, contemporaneous evidence and independent investigation.
