Ranking Marks Growing Audience
Contacto XIII, a Spanish-language podcast hosted by Garbanzo and produced by Dallas-based reVolver Podcasts, ranked No. 50 among Spotify’s most-listened-to Science podcasts in Mexico, according to public chart tracking cited by the company. The ranking was reported on October 6, 2026, based on the program’s position on Spotify Mexico’s Science chart as of October 4.
The podcast has previously climbed as high as No. 39 in the category, suggesting continued audience interest in its coverage of UFOs, extraterrestrial life and other unexplained phenomena. Because streaming charts are updated regularly, rankings can shift as listening activity and audience engagement change.
Investigating UFOs and Unexplained Cases
Launched in 2025, Contacto XIII has released more than 70 episodes and publishes new installments twice a week. The series examines reports of unidentified objects, alleged extraterrestrial encounters, classified government files, witness testimony and historical cases that remain subjects of debate.
Its episodes address both widely known and lesser-known incidents, including the Roswell case, Project Blue Book, the 1976 recording involving pilot Pacheco Pérez, Brazil’s Varginha incident and claims related to unidentified technology. According to the program’s description, each case is considered through the available reporting, documentation and testimony, with an emphasis on what can be independently examined rather than simply accepted as fact.
That approach places the podcast within a broader shift in Spanish-language audio programming, as audiences increasingly turn to on-demand formats for long-form reporting and analysis of specialized subjects.
Statements From Producers
“This recognition demonstrates the growing demand for original Spanish-language programming that explores complex and fascinating subjects,” said Jack Hobbs, president of reVolver Podcasts. He credited Garbanzo with combining research, storytelling and his established on-air personality to connect with listeners in Mexico.
Garbanzo said the ranking represents more than a chart position. “Our audience wants to hear the names, the dates, the documents and the details that can actually be investigated,” he said. “Contacto XIII gives Spanish-speaking listeners a place to explore these cases in their own language and draw their own conclusions.”
Garbanzo brings more than 25 years of experience in Los Angeles radio and is also known for extraterrestrial and unexplained-phenomena segments on Erazno y La Chokolata. Through Contacto XIII, he has expanded that work into longer episodes incorporating reported narratives, archival material, testimony and analysis.
Distribution and Industry Context
The program has also appeared on Apple Podcasts’ Science chart in Mexico and maintains strong audience ratings across multiple platforms, according to reVolver Podcasts. Neither Spotify nor Apple Podcasts rankings should be interpreted as permanent measures of listenership, however, since charts are subject to frequent changes and may reflect a range of audience and engagement metrics.
Contacto XIII is available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other major podcast services. Its performance comes as reVolver continues expanding its multicultural audio catalog, which includes entertainment, news, sports, business, lifestyle, health and cultural programming.
The company recently announced a distribution partnership with Claro USA, making its content available through Claro Música Pulso, an entertainment platform serving more than 500,000 subscribers with music, podcasts, radio, video and other multimedia offerings. ReVolver programming is also distributed through Pandora, Deezer, iHeartRadio, Amazon Music, Roku, the Samsung Galaxy Store and the company’s website.
